License types
OEM, Retail, Bind and Volume: Microsoft license types explained
A Microsoft license type tells you how a key activates and whether it can move to another PC. An OEM key stays with the first PC it activates. A Retail key can be moved to another PC later. A Bind key is linked to your Microsoft account. Egodget recommends Retail and OEM keys.

FAQ
Questions about buying Microsoft product keys
Short answers to what buyers ask most before ordering: whether the keys are genuine, how long delivery takes, how OEM and Retail differ, and what happens if a key does not work.
Still have a question?
Support answers every day, 8 am to 9 pm New York time.
Are the Microsoft product keys sold by Egodget genuine?
Yes. Egodget sells genuine Microsoft product keys, and Egodget is listed in the Microsoft partner directory. Every key is covered by a guarantee: if a key shows an activation error, we send a replacement, and if no replacement works you get a full refund. EGODGET LLC has sold license keys since February 2022.
How long does it take to receive my key?
Your key is sent by email within 1 to 12 hours after your payment is confirmed. Check your spam folder if you do not see it. If the key has not arrived after 12 hours, contact us by email or WhatsApp. A key that is not delivered is refunded in full.
Is an Office 2021 or Office 2019 key a lifetime license?
Yes. Office 2021, Office 2019 and Office 2016 keys are one-time purchases: you pay once, there is no subscription, and the license does not expire. The only subscription product at Egodget is Office 365 Pro Plus, which lasts one year.
What is the difference between an OEM key and a Retail key?
An OEM key stays with the first PC it activates and cannot be moved to another PC. A Retail key can be moved to another PC later, one PC at a time. At Egodget, Windows 11 and Windows 10 keys are OEM, while Office for PC, Visio, Project and server keys are Retail.
Should I buy Windows 11 Home or Windows 11 Pro?
Windows 11 Home covers everyday use: browsing, office work, study and games. Windows 11 Pro adds BitLocker encryption, Remote Desktop and Hyper-V, which matter for business use and remote work. Choose Pro if you need any of these; otherwise Home is enough.
Can I use one key on more than one computer?
No. Each key activates one device: one PC for Windows and Office for PC, or one Mac for Office for Mac. If you need to activate several computers, buy one key per computer. The exception is Office 365 Pro Plus, which covers 5 users. The number of devices is shown in every product name.
What happens if my key does not work?
Contact us by email or WhatsApp with your order number. If the key shows an activation error, we send you a replacement key first. If no replacement works, you get a full refund. Support is available every day from 8 am to 9 pm New York time, for 90 days after your purchase.
What is phone activation?
Phone activation means the software is activated through Microsoft’s automated phone system instead of online: the activation window gives you an installation ID, and you receive a confirmation ID to enter. At Egodget, Office LTSC 2024 Professional Plus and the phone-activation versions of Office 2021 and 2019 work this way. They cost less; we recommend Retail and OEM keys.
Which payment methods does Egodget accept?
Egodget accepts Visa, Mastercard, Google Pay, Apple Pay and cryptocurrency. Prices are in US dollars, and payment is made on a secure, encrypted checkout page.
Does Egodget deliver to my country?
Keys are digital and sent by email, so there is nothing to ship. Delivery is free and available in 55 countries, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, France, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Singapore.
